DaNece Lyman Violin: Teacher and Performer

Private violin lessons in Lehi, UT and surrounding areas are now available for students aged 3 and above. Lessons can be held in students' homes, online, or at two studios located in Lehi and South Jordan. With eleven years of teaching experience, I have been trained for Suzuki books 1-4, and my teaching method primarily focuses on the Suzuki technique. By encouraging students to learn their pieces by ear, I help them to develop proper violin skills, supplemented with music theory and note reading. For advanced students, my training includes musical composition, etudes, and scales suitable for auditions or competitions. I am dedicated to helping each student achieve their musical goals by discovering their unique path in music. With a Bachelor's degree in violin performance from Brigham Young University, and a Master of Music degree attained at Boise State University, I have played professionally in orchestras throughout the US and chamber music in Italy and Slovenia.

I am also available as a solo violinist for weddings and other events, with piano backing tracks available if required. Drawing on my experience as a professional musician, I can provide you with a personalized selection of classic or modern pieces to create the perfect ambiance for your event. I will bring all necessary sound equipment, and I am happy to meet with you beforehand to discuss your preferences in detail.
