With international touring experience as a musician and educator, I've worked with numerous students in one-on-one lessons, educational workshops, and outreach concerts globally. No matter your goals, age or experience, I am enthusiastic about honing your musical abilities.

My teaching methodology is simple; I believe every student has a unique lens that makes music exciting and instinctive. I focus on figuring this out to help you discover your potential.

For novices, building an interest or passion for music is one of the most satisfying challenges for me as a teacher, whether young or old.

For advanced players, it's more about discovering the self-expression in music, managing egos, purposes, techniques, and more. I have had the privilege of studying under acclaimed musicians like Joe Lovano, Danilo Perez, John Patittucci, Kenny Werner, George Garzone, and others, and aspire to inspire you with the wisdom I have gained.

A saxophonist, composer, teacher, and writer based in Brooklyn, I've been fortunate to perform worldwide, including my recent music tours to China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Panama, and Costa Rica. Alongside enriching experiences, I've shared the stage with Danilo Perez, Kenny Werner, Ralph Thomas (Sun Ra Arkestra, Quincy Jones), Benjamin Koen (David Murray, Cecil Taylor), Yessaï Karapetian, Opor Red, R&B singer Allen Stone, and singer-songwriter Amanda Palmer.

In addition, I boast a substantial music education background, having taught privately for years, and worked as the Performing Arts Director at a respected international school where I created a concert band program from scratch.

I earned a M.M. in Contemporary Performance from the Berklee Global Jazz Institute in Boston, where I acquired a full scholarship and additionally studied under Joe Lovano, John Patitucci, Terri Lyne Carrington, and others. I also have an undergraduate diploma and a B.S. in Business Administration from Berklee and the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, respectively.
