An artist both in and out of the kitchen, Zac Franzoni has established himself as an abstract painter in Chicago before venturing into cooking. Zac's flair for creativity and concentration are now reflected in his culinary skills, which he dubs Culinary Abstraction. Whether it's an intimate dinner for two, a large luncheon or special events such as holidays, anniversaries or bachelor/bachelorette parties, Zac collaborates with his clients to create a personalized menu that promises to delight their taste buds. Italian food is Zac's specialty, having been inspired by his family's own heritage. He loves making his own pasta from scratch and pairing it with delicious sauces. However, Zac is also adept at whipping up custom menus featuring a diverse range of cuisines, from Latin Fusion to Southern-comfort dishes. To ensure the safety and hygiene of the food he prepares, Zac holds Certifications in Food Sanitation and Safety and ServSafe® Food Protection Manager, which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP).

Zac was absolutely amazing for my friend's 27th birthday party! He was prompt in responding to our inquiry and quickly set up a meeting to discuss the menu in detail. Zac's suggestions were fantastic and he made sure to utilize in-season ingredients for each dish. The presentation of the dishes was stunning, and the taste was even better.
