Welcome! My name is Jenney and I offer an unparalleled cat-exclusive boarding experience in Pleasant Hill. As a cat owner myself, I understand how hard it can be to leave your furry friend in someone else's care. That's why I opened my home to single-household boarding, so your cat(s) can enjoy a stress-free, home-like environment while you're away.

I provide premium cat boarding services and board only one household at a time, meaning your cat(s) will have a large private bedroom in a clean and quiet space. Plus, there's plenty of toys, treats, and love to go around! I work from home most days, giving your cat(s) plenty of attention, and even provide frequent updates and photos to put your mind at ease.

A little about me: I have over 25 years of personal and professional experience caring for cats. I've worked and volunteered at shelters around the Bay Area and have experience fostering cats and kittens for adoption. I can even give medication and perform cat CPR if needed!

Please see the Question and Answers section for more details and pricing. Note that starting in 2022, I'll be donating 10% of all proceeds to Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) in Walnut Creek.

Lastly, while I have two resident cats of my own, you can be assured that your cat(s) will be housed separately at all times and will not come in contact with them or any foster cats who also have their own dedicated space.

Jenney was the perfect choice to board my cat, Scuffy. In fact, Scuffy seemed to have enjoyed her stay so much that she didn't want to leave. Jenney possesses exceptional knowledge of cats, and my cat was smitten with her. She kept me updated with photos and informed me about Scuffy's eating, playing, and sleeping habits. If you're fortunate enough to find availability, Jenney's place is the ultimate cat boarding service. I took advantage of J.'s pick-up and drop-off services, and the cost was reasonable, even better than what some charge for basic pet care at home. I highly recommend this service.

Jen is an outstanding pet sitter! On a couple of occasions, she took care of my beloved feline, Penny, and Penny was absolutely enamored with Jen's hospitable environment - which seemed tailored to appease any cat's desires! Jen was prompt to reply and kept me informed with texts and pictures, which I found very reassuring. Due to ongoing renovations at my residence, it wasn't feasible for Jen to visit, so boarding Penny at a facility was out of the question for me. Luckily, I discovered Cuddles Not Cages and I couldn't be happier about my decision. Whenever I need to go out of town, I will certainly entrust Penny to Jen's care.

Jenney's cat boarding services went beyond our expectations. Our feline friend, who craves social interaction, was not left in a conventional one-spot boarding facility. Jenney recognized that Whiskerlifa was our first pet, and accommodated our jitteriness about leaving him for a week. Her prompt communication, updates, and vast knowledge were impressive. Her facility was nothing less than a happy place for our kitty, similar to Disneyland itself.
