Hi, I'm Alex Spreigl - a classically trained Chef who earned a Bachelors of Science in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University in 2014. With over 10 years of experience working in various restaurants, including country clubs, fine dining, and most recently, for 4 years in the 3 Michelin star restaurant, Rutz, in Berlin, Germany.
Cooking has always been a passion of mine, stemming from the wonderful memories of helping my parents and grandparents cook at family gatherings. I strive to create flavorful and healthy meals that are enjoyed by everyone. My inspiration originates from using locally and organically sourced products, and following seasonal availability, to ensure the highest level of quality for my clients and customers.
I decided to move into the private sector because I wanted to share my philosophy of using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, providing anyone who craves delicious food with an accessible means to achieve it, whether it's through meal delivery, in-home meal prep, catering, or in-home cooking classes. Everyone deserves to have thoughtful and tasty meals that make them feel good about what they're cooking for their loved ones.

Last week, I had an enjoyable time during my initial cooking session with Alex. The booking process was straightforward. Alex shared multiple menu alternatives with me and I picked the one aligned with my preferences. He was punctual and pleasant upon arrival. Besides his expertise in cooking and food preparation, Alex was well-versed in techniques such as knife handling. He was an exceptional communicator who displayed remarkable patience. Recently, I took a cooking class with Alex, which proved to be a delightful and enlightening experience. Alex possesses extensive knowledge, and his clear insight into his culinary approach impressed me.
