For two decades, Susan Taub has been advising students on achieving their college goals, helping them navigate the admissions process to achieve success. Her clients come from diverse backgrounds, ranging from public, private, boarding, parochial, and home-schooled students, to freshmen and transfer applicants from various academic profiles and interests. Susan is especially skilled in highly selective college admissions and specialized performing arts degree programs. She assists students and parents both nationally and internationally, drawing on 44 years of education experience, a BA in Child Study from Tufts University, and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Susan's services include evaluating academic, personal, and extracurricular backgrounds, guiding college selection and assessing admission chances, developing personalized application timelines, making the most of campus visits, identifying strengths to highlight in applications, and providing support in every aspect of the application process. She also helps with specialized arts program admissions and the artistic review process, soliciting effective recommendation letters, preparing for interviews, and assisting 10th and 11th graders with course planning, testing schedules, extracurricular, and summer activities. Lastly, she guides students in deferrals and waitlists and helps choose the best college from among multiple acceptances.
