With experience recording and performing in a diverse array of musical genres, including orchestras, jazz bands, rock bands, and church worship bands, as well as a degree in Instrumental Performance from Anderson University and training at the Musician's Institute in Hollywood, California, Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his teaching. His curriculum covers a wide range of styles, including rock, pop, country, jazz, and Latin, along with rudimentary snare drum, reading music for school bands and pop charts, maintaining steady tempo, balancing overall drum kit sound, and playing grooves and fills of the student's favorite bands and drummers.
