Cipriano Painting

The team at Cipriano Painting is exceptional! After attempting to paint my kitchen cabinets on my own, I had to call in Mike to correct my mistakes. Thankfully, they delivered an exceptional outcome - my kitchen looks incredible. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again and highly recommend them to others!

Our ranch house with cathedral ceilings in the living room underwent a major painting project. The contracted work consisted of ceilings in the living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway to the guest room, and hallway leading downstairs. The walls painted included the living room, both hallways, and the kitchen, while the dining room was left out due to the wallpaper. The wallpaper in the kitchen below the chair rail was removed along with a border in the living room. Furthermore, the job entailed painting 11 doors, excluding the inside parts. On top of that, the contractor patched up a hole in the front steel door and painted it, along with the wood around the garage and front threshold at no additional cost. Although the wood trim may require redoing next summer, the quick cover-up was good for the time being. We received all leftover paint and the drop cloth that we paid for, along with the receipts. All materials, which were purchased by the contractor from Sherwin Williams using a contractor's discount rate of $40 per can, cost us $494. The job began on Tuesday and ended on Thursday afternoon, which was a pleasant surprise, considering the previous time we hired a painter, and it took them a week. We are a Behr paint family, but the painter preferred and used Sherwin Williams paint, which so far has been great but only time will tell how long it lasts. Although it has a washable finish, it feels more flat than expected, but that's not an issue since we have two messy English Springers, and our home will always have wear and tear. The paint job was excellent, and we would rehire the contractor. However, we gave a 4-star rating instead of 5 due to sanding dust from patching nail holes and larger holes that caused little flicks of paint all over the wood and other floors. We also had to remind the painters to place a drop cloth over the carpet before walking over it with shoes. Furthermore, a curio cabinet got gouged on the bottom while being moved by the painter's helper. Nevertheless, the ceilings, walls, doors, and window caulked by the contractor looked amazing. Overall, we would rate the job 4.5 stars out of five and would hire their services again.
