Due to the pandemic, Danbi Choi is currently teaching only on Zoom. She is a violinist and teacher based in Cincinnati who is pursuing an Artist Diploma program at Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). Danbi maintains an active performance career as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral violinist, having played with a variety of ensembles in prestigious venues across the country. However, she is equally passionate about teaching and has received high praise from her students and their parents. Danbi incorporates music theory and ear training into her lessons, and always puts her students' needs and desires for musical growth first. Regardless of age, Danbi believes that it's never too late to enjoy and love music, and she would love to help anyone looking to learn the violin.

For the first time in several years, I attended a violin lesson with Danbi! I have had various violin teachers in the past, but Danbi was exceptional! She was courteous, professional, and imparted excellent teachings. I appreciated our extensive practice sessions on bowing technique, which was quite different from my former instructors. Furthermore, Danbi reassured me during my nervousness about playing again, which was a significant boost. Overall, I would undoubtedly recommend Danbi with a perfect score!

As an adult learner, playing the violin is my beloved hobby and I take it very seriously. For the past six months, I have been receiving violin lessons from Danbi, who I am thrilled to have as my teacher.
