Around a year ago, I made the decision to shake things up in my life and try something new - golf. Having known Christy Erb for a few years, she had suggested that I take lessons with her to give it a go. So, I decided to take the leap and start my lessons with Christy, not really knowing what to expect. As many already know (and constantly remind me), golf is a challenging game filled with inconsistencies and unpredictable outcomes. A unique physical form is required - unlike any other sport - which means you can't just walk up and hit the little white ball. Unlike Frisbee or football, hitting a white ball with a long club can be an incredibly frustrating act with no immediate reward. Despite this, under Christy's guidance, I slowly started to realize that golf could become my ultimate challenge. She patiently taught me the basic moves, progressing to changes in my swing and stance. She conveyed everything with clarity, great humor, and boundless encouragement. Even on the days where I felt like nothing was connecting, she would find that one positive aspect and help me put it into perspective. Her support has been so encouraging and exactly what any student could ask for.

After just a single session with Christy, my form and approach were swiftly rectified. The next day, I was able to hit the ball straighter and even further. I am truly amazed by the progress I have made and grateful to Christy for her guidance.
