Chiara is unquestionably an expert in her field! She provided makeup services for my graduation photoshoot without a trial, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. Despite having had my makeup done professionally for various events in the past, I have never been fully satisfied enough to rebook with a makeup artist until I met Chiara. Specifically, for professional photoshoots, I often worry about obtaining a "light" makeup look that can be captured evenly with large apertures. However, this was never an issue with Chiara because she carefully considered the lighting biases of outdoor photography during the application process. Every little detail of how my makeup looked in the photos was impeccable and highlighted my best features without creating a shape that I don't naturally have. Chiara was truly excellent at contouring my face and ensuring that I had the right amount of product and blend to prevent wash away that could be caused in photos. My main concern lay in finding an MUA with a good understanding of the differences between capturing makeup through human eyes versus the lens of a camera under various lighting conditions, and Chiara was the perfect choice! She skillfully used matte finish to emphasize the structural definition of my face that receded and added depth from all angles. Chiara opted for softer tones like brown and grey for my eyes and made my eyebrows clearly visible with a dark hue when viewed in soft natural light. I appreciated how she avoided using oily and shimmery products to prevent me from looking glowy/dewy – a look that would be appropriate for a personal event but not for a photoshoot. Consequently, my face was perfectly outlined in photos, enhancing my experience and the photographic outcome with effortless elegance from every angle that needed minimal/no editing. Apart from her immaculate skills and quality makeup applications, Chiara was a delight to work with, possessing great vibes. She understood the significance of being entrusted with someone's makeup for a special occasion and took her job seriously when I sat in her chair. I look forward to working with her again, creating more magical memories with her touch!
