Greetings! My name is David Gangursky, and I appreciate you taking the time to learn about my teaching services. I specialize in coaching both children and adults on the acoustic, digital, and electronic keyboard to play a variety of styles such as classical, rock/pop, jazz, and improvisation.
From novices who need to grasp the basics of music language, including correctly hitting the notes, keeping rhythm, and mastering phrasing, to advanced players working on interpreting challenging compositions, I work to cultivate a talent that can be continued for a lifetime. Alongside imparting musical knowledge, I encourage discipline, an ear for multi-genre tunes, and the ability to self-teach. Aspiring to produce complete musicians, I offer comprehensive training that bridges the gap between popular and classical styles, utilizing top-notch resources for all.
The pianistic journey with my pupils is personally fulfilling, whether observing burgeoning appreciation for quality melodies or my senior students playing intricate tunes with authentic interpretation. As a passionate practitioner, I consider it an honor to share my learned skills and meet eager minds.
Regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic, I cautiously monitor and comply with state guidelines. At present, mask-wearing during lessons is optional, but appropriate ventilation and hand washing are required. If conditions or recommendations change, mask-wearing might become obligatory for both teacher and student.
Lastly, the inspiration for my studio's name, "While This Lasts," comes from Anne Frank's diary, where she described a memorable moment amid her confinement. I find resonance in this sentiment and celebrate the beauty of music and the privilege of learning and sharing it.

Frankly speaking, our son has no interest in learning. However, David is simply outstanding. Despite dealing with a difficult child, he manages to assimilate the lessons, and our budding musician is making excellent progress. David possesses excellent patience and knows exactly how far to go in order to achieve the desired results. In comparison, others would have given up on our obstinate child, but not David! I could not ask for anything more, he is truly exceptional!
