Description:

Are you struggling to help your child with their early reading skills? I offer a Phonics program that covers reading, writing, and spelling to help students break down language into its basic components.

Do you need additional writing support for your child beyond the standard school curriculum? I provide students with a set of tools that are applicable to all writing formats and can be used throughout their lives.

If your child struggles with reading comprehension and vocabulary, I use an English roots program that helps them understand word meanings. Just like Phonics aids in spelling, vocabulary improves comprehension.

As a homeschooler for 11 years, I have experience tutoring small classes of students for Classical Conversations in English and Writing. Furthermore, I am familiar with learning processing challenges, executive functioning struggles, and learning styles as a teacher with Help Elevate Learning Processing.
I am currently pursuing a Masters of Classical Studies at Southeastern University, which allows me to tutor using this method and help your family learn how to learn anything.

Despite consistently scoring above grade level in English on standardized tests, my son's writing had been graded below standard on report cards for years. However, after just four months under the tutelage of Ms. Stacy, he now writes at or above standard according to his report card. Not only has his writing achieved measurable improvements, but it has also transformed from stagnant to engaging and expressive. It's a gift to witness his newfound passion for writing. Initially, I promised my son that he could stop working with Ms. Stacy once his writing reached grade level. However, he's enjoying himself so much that he wants to continue. I'm immensely grateful for Ms. Stacy and the positive impact she has had on my son's writing and love for language.

My daughter has been truly blessed to have Stacy as her tutor. Despite being in the sixth grade, my daughter was performing at a fourth-grade level. However, after just a month of working with Stacy, I can proudly say that she is now performing at a seventh-grade level.
