Our chef hails from Brooklyn and spent 16 years in Jamaica, where he honed his skills and began his culinary journey as a child watching his mother cook. Professionally trained at PTC, he also took home the top prize in the yearly Skills USA regional competition for culinary arts.

While in Orlando, my family had the honor of having Chef Matthew cook a birthday meal for us. Matthew was prompt, courteous, and skilled – his culinary creations were truly remarkable! His meticulousness was unparalleled; not only did he notice my brother's preference for no sauce, he also made sure to offer each course with the sauce served separately. We savored every bite of Matthew's dishes and would undoubtedly seek out his services again if back in the Orlando region.

Chef Matthew's culinary creation was truly exceptional! Being our first encounter with a personal chef, we were unsure of what to anticipate. Nonetheless, he arrived promptly and skillfully completed his tasks, allowing us to unwind and savor our meal at the agreed time of 6:30. To top it off, Chef Matthew tidied up thoroughly, despite having to make a long journey of 2.5-3 hours back to his Clearwater residence. Without hesitation, I enthusiastically endorse him to anyone seeking a similar experience in the future.

For my wedding celebration, I had a specific vision of personalized grilled pizzas and Caesar salads for approximately 50 guests in our lakeside backyard. Luckily, I discovered Chef Matthew on CrackerJack who was easy to contact and understood my goals. Despite our old kitchen and challenging outdoor grill area, Chef Matthew prepared and served great food with a great attitude. He arrived early to prepare the food fresh and set up the outdoor grill area. The pizzas and salads were delicious and Chef Matthew executed his exacting request with professionalism. He impressed me with his problem solving and creative approach to bring my vision to life, making my husband and I feel comfortable and confident. Our guests also had many wonderful things to say about him. Chef Matthew was the perfect choice for this event and I highly recommend him with a 5/5 rating.
