Services I offer include private or group lessons, catering for large or small events, menu development, commercial kitchen design, and preparing meals for the week or holiday occasions for families. I have been immersed in the culinary industry for my entire life, starting as a young hostess at age 14 and working my way up from there, holding every position possible within a restaurant. I even owned my own restaurant. In 1994, I graduated from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, and I have since honed my skills and knowledge in many different cuisines. I have worked in various settings, including fine dining establishments, Thai and sushi restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, and corporate settings, serving companies such as Cisco Systems, VMware, and Intel for 8 years. Recently, I have shifted back to fine dining and relocated to Bend, Oregon. I take pleasure in teaching people and my employees different techniques, flavors, and recipes, and have a successful history of seeing my many sous chefs become chefs in their own right and managing large accounts, catering, and successful restaurants.
