Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to work with a variety of international and prominent clients, affording me the opportunity to learn and create an array of different cuisines. My experience has been diverse, from preparing breakfasts and dinners at 5-star game lodges in South Africa to crafting high-end dishes and events.
I take great pride in my work, ensuring that every meal I prepare is executed flawlessly. I understand that presentation is just as important as taste, and I always pay close attention to detail when creating dishes. Starting from the beginning, Chef Cheryl responded promptly and organized a call to discuss my menu preferences and recommendations. She maintained constant communication throughout the planning process leading up to our special day.
When Chef Cheryl and Emily arrived on time, they immediately set a comfortable tone by getting to know us. Their professionalism was undeniable and nothing felt rushed.
The charcuterie board was magnificent with unusual items that we never would have tried otherwise. Chef Cheryl expertly recommended the best pairings with the cheeses. Furthermore, she wrapped up any leftovers for us.
Dinner was served promptly, and Chef Cheryl explained each course as it was brought to the table. The presentation was amazing and all leftovers were wrapped for guests to take home if needed.
The menu included a spicy tuna appetizer, filet mignon or short rib with a lobster tail for the main course, and a choice of Sherry trifle or crème brûlée for dessert.
After enjoying our delicious meal, I noticed that all the dishes were cleared and spotlessly clean on the counter. Chef Cheryl and Emily returned the kitchen exactly as they found it, which was top-class.
Overall, Chef Cheryl went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was unforgettable. She took care of everything, leaving me, my family and guests with nothing to worry about. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a chef to elevate their occasion. I'm already planning our next celebration and will definitely book her again.
