We expected quality work to be completed within a reasonable timeframe by a large and professional crew when we hired CertaPro, but there was a significant gap between what they promised and what actually occurred during our complex and extensive project. Despite interviewing multiple painters, we chose CertaPro based on their assurance of efficient service. We were initially informed that the project would take 4 or 5 days, yet it eventually took 12 days (excluding periods where the crew did not work). Furthermore, we were advised that an 8-man team was necessary, but the crew size was fluctuating and inconsistent, ranging from 3 to 6 individuals at different times during the project. New crew members were brought in during the middle of the project, and they were not given proper instructions and consequently made mistakes. Initially, we were told that all paints would be procured from one store or mixer. However, after paying a substantial downpayment, we realized that all of the necessary paints had not been acquired seven days into the project. Additionally, we were informed that every item would be listed with appropriate details in the proposal, but several things were omitted from the final work order. Daily verbal reminders were required for the crew regarding paint types and what needed to be painted. Despite having identified areas requiring attention during our walk-through and including them in the proposal, the crew was "surprised" by the need for certain tasks. Before starting the job, the crew was not adequately prepared, and throughout the project, protective measures for furniture, floors, and fixtures were not taken appropriately, resulting in dust and paint damage. Although we requested touch-ups repeatedly, the crew lines between the walls and the trim were unstraight and sloppy. Furthermore, the crew's work station was not kept clean, and they were often tardy or left early. On the positive side, the job foreman was polite and attentive to our requests, even returning to make corrections. However, the costs for hotel stays, pet boarding, and home cleaning were additional expenditures caused by the crew's lack of communication and professionalism. We had previously worked with other painters on different projects and had a satisfactory experience, but CertaPro fell short of our expectations despite their higher fee. We suggest that they may be better for smaller projects or for exterior work with less precision. As a result, we will be seeking their services elsewhere in the future.

They left no stone unturned and gave me answers to all my inquiries. The quote provided was comprehensive, and the warranty attached to it was great. Working with them again is a certainty.
