This establishment caused an embarrassing bodily reaction.
The Caspi Construction representative arrived at my house sporting an off-putting green aura and delivered a price estimate of $3,400. He claimed to offer a discount in hopes of gaining my repeat business. He declared that two workers were required for the job, implying that I was a homemaker with nothing better to do.
I received three other quotes ranging from $1,200 to $1,600 and ultimately chose a one-man team for $1,400 who completed the task in a mere 1.5 hours.
This incident highlights the kind of man who frustrates me-- assuming I couldn't possibly handle this project alone as a successful single woman. My response? A resounding middle finger to him!
