As a freelance photographer with extensive world travel experience, I specialize in portrait and event photography. My passion for photography began in my hometown of Denver, Colorado where I honed my skills in outdoor portraiture and sports/event photography. I established a successful independent business for family portraits in Evergreen, Colorado and also led photography missions for Mexico Medical Missions.
Recently, I relocated to Chicago in the fall of 2021 and expanded my expertise to beauty portraiture. I continued my photography education by enrolling in lighting and post-production courses at Columbia College Chicago, which included Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere. In addition, I served as the Director of Photography under Sanity Productions and excelled in music/concert coverage. I collaborated with various artists and studios for portraits and promotional work in Chicago.
My proficiency in creative direction, lighting, and social skills, allows me to adapt to any shooting environments. I utilize Canon EOS R5, Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8, Canon RF 35mm f/1.8, Canon RF 50mm f/1.8, Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8, DJI Ronin RSC2, and MacBook Pro M1 Max in my photography work.
