Description:
Since 1987, Caroline Levy has been imparting violin knowledge to her students. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Vassar College and later completed her Master of Music in Violin Performance from the University of South Carolina. Caroline has enriched her teaching skills by attending Suzuki Teacher Training courses at Ithaca College and Catholic University. At Levine School of Music, she served as a violin instructor for eight years and was also the chair of the Suzuki String Program. Her previous stints also include being the orchestra director at Poe Middle School in Fairfax County, a position she occupied for five years.

For a period of three years, Caroline collaborated with my son, commencing when he turned six. Caroline's approach was gentle, and she made sure to teach at his speed while challenging him adequately. Her instructional methods were customized to accommodate his inclinations and preferences. She significantly showed great flexibility, was easy to interact with, and embraced our whole family, which included a lively younger sibling. On top of her one-on-one sessions, Caroline organized group lessons that enhanced our musical education by enabling us to socialize. It was a melancholic moment when we had to part ways with her due to our relocation to a different locality.
