Rewritten text: If negative stars were an option, I would choose that. I strongly advise against hiring this individual. I hired him to complete my project and he promised to show up at 8am-10am on the start date. However, his worker arrived at 4:30pm and left after an hour at 5:30pm. During that time, there were numerous mistakes made that did not meet ANSI and TCNA codes. The next day, he promised to show up at 8:30am but did not show up at all. On the third day, he promised to arrive at 9am, but his worker showed up at 10-11am and did a subpar job. When we corrected the mistakes, he got angry. Despite having training in this field, I hired him as I did not want to complete the project myself. He claimed that we did not inform him of two major aspects of the job, which I know we did. He became upset when we reminded him, so we asked him to leave and requested our deposit back. He only refunded part of the deposit, keeping $500 for the 4 hours his worker was there. In the end, I had to remove all the tile set and 25% of the floor prep to fix the errors they made. They also left behind items and did not respond to my emails regarding this matter. The up-close orange photo shows the inadequate bend in the floor prep (uncoupling membrane) that did not meet ANSI and TCNA codes.

You shouldn't even bother trying to contact them. The owner confirmed that they would come to my place at 9AM the next day to do the work. However, no one showed up by 11AM, so I called to inquire and received a reply that they would arrive within 60-90 minutes. Once again, they did not show up, so I called at 2:20 PM only to be told that they were overbooked and my job was not worthwhile, so they would not be completing it at all! Service providers with an untrustworthy and deceitful nature are the worst. If you want your job to be completed, it's best to steer clear.
