Cane Bay Kitchen offers private chef and catering services with a focus on fully immersive private dinners for a maximum of twenty guests. Our specialty lies in three Chef-Curated menus that feature hand-selected ingredients sourced from the Low-country. When you book with us, our professional chef team and attentive wait staff will prepare a four-course dinner in the comfort of your home. We provide personalized touches such as thoughtfully curated music, custom printed menus, and dinnerware. You only need to show up and get ready to indulge in a memorable culinary experience.
My accolades include being honored as a CrackerJack, Top Performing Pro in 2022, and being a Guest Chef at Wine under the Oaks Festival in 2022. Additionally, I served as the Chef/Owner of Darla's Bagels in 2018.

My experience with Jake was simply amazing! He elevated my husband's birthday celebration and made it more exciting. Working with Cane Bay was an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end! Jake was very accommodating when it came to creating a menu that catered to various dietary restrictions, and he worked tirelessly until it was just right. The entire process, from setting up to cleaning up, was handled seamlessly and with the utmost professionalism. The food itself was simply delicious, boasting fresh, flavorful ingredients that honestly surpassed my expectations. I would certainly make use of their services again should I find myself in the area in the future!

What a fantastic experience with Chef Jake! During our 9-person girls trip to Tybee Island, we rented a home and had the pleasure of booking Chef Jake through CrackerJack for a 5-course dinner. The view was stunning, as we enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the roof, which Jake insisted on carrying all the dishes and flatware to. Jake and his wonderful server, Brit, created a beautiful table scape for us and provided all the serving dishes. The meal was locally sourced, and Jake explained each course, including its source. He took into consideration menu selections and dietary concerns, which was appreciated. The food was not only thoughtful but also tasted fantastic! Our only regret was not booking Chef Jake earlier in the trip, as we would've loved to enjoy the leftovers. This 5-star experience is one we won't forget!
