Experience high-quality training at a great value with our services. Our rates are lower than those of fitness centers or studios, starting at $35 per session for online training, and $45 per session for in-home, outdoor, or Planet Fitness guest training; trip charges apply depending on location. There are NO contracts or minimum purchase requirements, and discounts are available for 5, 10, and 20 session packages. Additionally, we specialize in training older individuals who have health concerns or physical limitations, and offer an optional fitness assessment that counts as one session.

Our trainer has been nationally accredited by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), and has previous certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), with over 30 years of experience in the health and wellness field. This includes 15 years at a hospital-owned facility with 3,000 members and 12 years at a doctor-supervised facility with 3,000 members.

We prioritize the safety of our clients during these times, and our trainer is double-vaccinated, double-boosted, and bivalent boosted for COVID-19 (as of October 2022), and vaccinated for the flu in October 2022. For your convenience, we accept several payment methods, including through CrackerJack.

This personal trainer is highly encouraging, incredibly supportive and never lets you give up. They also offer additional advice to help you stay motivated. I believe they are the top-notch personal trainer and wouldn't want to train with anyone else.

Dan Hysong, the Trainer of Personal Fitness Plus, and I first met when he worked as a trainer at FitnessWorks located in the New Center area of Detroit. I was new to the idea of having a trainer. Although I had always led a busy life, I wasn't very active. At my age, in my late 70's, that kind of lifestyle had begun to take a toll on me. Dan created a personalized program, which enabled me to strengthen my back, arms, and legs. We worked together, and gradually, I began to get into much better shape. Unfortunately, Covid caused FitnessWorks to close down, but we were still able to meet at a park nearby during the summer. When winter came, I wasn't physically active at all. When Dan commenced his Zoom classes, I knew it was the perfect opportunity for me. I need Dan's constant guidance to maintain my fitness level. He listens carefully to my needs, worries and medical problems, takes note of our positive outcomes, and frequently adjusts my program to keep every session intriguing and motivating. As a trainer, I strongly endorse Dan Hysong. Initially, I received personal training from Dan at a gym before it closed down. After that, we transitioned to online training, which has been successful. I was somewhat hesitant initially as the gym equipment wasn't available to me at home. However, Dan utilized my readily available equipment (dumbbells and an inflatable ball) and designed effective workouts. Dan is a diligent trainer who notes my progress and ensures that timing is maintained in my routines. Since I am aging, Dan has assisted me in maintaining muscle strength and balance. Although one may think that it is possible to do it independently, having Dan as a trainer, who knows how much to push me, has been beneficial. My limits are often exceeded, but I am always grateful for Dan's push. Moreover, Dan has contributed to addressing some of my particular issues, such as pulled muscles, plantar fasciitis, and recovering from abdominal surgery. It's amazing how he can pinpoint and provide stretches to relieve the soreness. Consequently, the quality of my life has significantly improved.

For the last six months, Dan has been my trainer solely through Zoom. He's highly skilled at adapting the workout routine to the online setting while using the equipment I have at home. Despite the change in my exercise goals caused by joint surgery during his time as my trainer, Dan addresses and accommodates them all. He ensures that all related muscles are sufficiently exercised while we focus on different muscle groups. I'm impressed with his extensive anatomical knowledge and training exercises. Dan is also respectful of my limitations and recognizes when an exercise should be modified or stopped due to pain. Additionally, I appreciate that he performs the exercises alongside me, allowing me to observe proper form. Dan customizes each workout for me and keeps detailed notes from past sessions. Furthermore, he is flexible and will finish the entire suite of exercises, even if it means going over the allotted time.

Dan coming to the house to aid with my exercise program has been a great motivator. With his extensive knowledge and skills in training, Dan has personalized my regimen beyond the Physical Therapy I once received post an auto accident, enlightening me on the importance of maintaining a routine for my well-being. Although I was reluctant to have a trainer, reviewing Dan's background assured me that he could help me. Dan is extremely patient and has worked hard to curate a regime that caters specifically to my exercise needs and health concerns. Additionally, he takes time to elaborate on every exercise and ensure I perform them accurately. I highly recommend Dan as a trainer, especially if you need assistance in starting an exercise program. The experience of working with Dan is indeed a positive one.
