Laura ensures that taking up violin lessons for the first time at over 60 is not painful. Learning from her is a delight as she is a gifted instructor and talented musician who tailors lessons to the individual student and provides encouragement without being preachy. Regardless of age, I highly endorse her for both performance and instruction.

For over a year now, Laura has been instructing my six-year-old son in the art of violin playing. Not once has my son missed a session with her, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to Laura's class. Her positive and nurturing demeanor make her the most supportive and compassionate teacher I have ever encountered. Laura quickly adapted to my son's learning style, for which I am deeply grateful, as it inspires my son to continually improve his skills and practice at home to further impress her with each encounter. Above all, she communicates the importance of discipline and technique while allowing for enjoyment in the experience. Additionally, she provides recommendations on Master classes and string events which have resulted in memorable experiences. I am humbled by her passion for teaching and music, and feel incredibly fortunate to have her as my son's violin teacher.

Following my initial trial lesson, it was evident that Laura was the violin teacher I desired. Her aptitude to expertly address all of my inquiries and uncertainties was impressive. Laura's proficiency in identifying the ideal speed for personalized instruction is noteworthy. Additionally, her personality is delightful!
