Description:

In November of 1996, Bill joined the ranks of the US Navy. During his service, he was tasked with various responsibilities such as handling Military Working Dogs (MWD) for patrolling, narcotics, and identifying bombs. He also held the positions of Kennel Master and Instructor. In his tenure, he was able to train and certify more than 256 MWDs. In 2006, he was released from active duty with an honorable discharge.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my profession is witnessing the joyous reunion between pet owners and their dogs after a 15-day training session. Seeing the dogs express elation at the sight of their owners and the owners awestruck by the incredible skills learned by their pets brings me immense happiness. It is undoubtedly one of the most enriching careers available.

Their impact on my German Shepherd's life has been significant. Initially, they rescued his pregnant mother from a kill shelter and fostered her entire litter, administering the necessary shots until we adopted him. They provided him with puppy training and a 2-week board training. Furthermore, they groom both my dogs every month and replaced my dog's e-collar when it broke. Though their facility may not be posh or shiny, it is filled with homely love and care which makes my dogs happy and comfortable every time they visit. I have nothing but positive things to say about them.

We are thrilled with Casper's training at Bulletproof! Tom provided the 15-day board & train program, and our dream dog has finally arrived. Casper obeys, listens, and is truly happy. Tom equipped us with tools to maintain his training at home and cater to his specific needs. Admittedly, I need as much training as Casper! We cannot praise Bulletproof enough- Casper was treated like one of their own, and he returned home just as loving and energetic as before, but with an incredible work ethic. We will certainly enroll any future dogs into this program. Thank you, Tom, from the bottom of our hearts!

During the 15-day training period, Max was coached by both Meghan and Bill until Meghan took charge and amazed me with her results. Over the past two years, I have been striving to regain my strength and have been relying on a walker equipped with a fold-down chair for added convenience. Max, my loyal companion, remains right next to me and has improved his "heel" command while walking with the walker. He also performs remarkably well next to my handicap scooter while we run errands, paying no mind to the crowds around us. I am beyond grateful for the incredible recommendation I received from Ranger's grandmother, whose son had previously trained with the Bullet Proof Dog Training facility in Ohio. Max himself underwent training at the San Antonio location, and I cannot thank Bullet Proof enough for their outstanding work.
