Greetings, my name is Brit! I hold certifications as a personal trainer and yoga instructor with a concentration on serving clients over the age of 40 who aspire to improve their general fitness and overall health through strength training and/or yoga.
To support you in reaching your yoga goals, we will commence with movements that are both comfortable and empowering, then gradually progress.
To help you fulfill your personal training ambitions, we will similarly begin with the fundamentals, but with the addition of equipment to expand the breadth of movements!
Equipment options that can be brought to you include kettlebells, TRX straps, resistance bands, yoga blocks, yoga bolsters, yoga blankets, and yoga straps. Whatever your fitness level, goals, and schedule may be, I will customize a program tailored specifically to you.
Our sessions can take place in the comfort of your own home or outdoors at a local park. While I will always don a mask for your protection, you are not required to wear one for me.
Furthermore, I have accumulated four years of experience working within a physical therapy clinic, where I taught prescribed physical therapy exercises. Hence, adherence to proper technique is an utmost priority of mine. Numerous clients seek my assistance once they have completed their physical therapy rehabilitation, so I work closely with their physical therapist to verify that their program is both safe and appropriate for their specific necessities (such as wrist patients adapting plank positions to avoid using their wrists, or shoulder patients temporarily focusing on lower body strengthening exercises).
