The decision to select Shauna along with her team members, LaToya and Maya, as our day-of coordinator proved to be the most beneficial one in our wedding planning process. Last week, I employed Shauna from "Bride-to-be" Weddings to act as the "day of coordinator" for my best friend's wedding. The decision to hire her was made after I grew tired of the incompetence and unprofessionalism of the initial venue coordinator in August. During the lead up to the wedding, we encountered some unexpected problems with floral selections and venue changes, but Shauna was always there to guide us through the difficult times. She organised a timeline for all the vendors, ensuring they were prepared for the big day. At the rehearsal, Shauna brought along her daughter Saniah, who was affectionately named "DJ Saniah", to provide the ceremony music on a boombox, which allowed the wedding party to practice the procession. On the day of the wedding, Shauna and her team, Cassandra, Maya, and Saniah, exceeded all of our expectations. They had all the details covered, and even when there were delays from a few vendors, they ensured that the stress did not affect the bride's big day. What impressed me the most was their unwavering calm and professional manner throughout the day, even when challenges arose. Shauna and her team went above and beyond the call of duty. They were impeccably organised, communicated discreetly via earpieces, and were always on-hand for any questions. They helped to set up the reception and ceremony areas, greeted guests with a smile, assisted with packing up wedding favors, and so much more. Their level of detail was astonishing, with Shauna noticing that an arch from another wedding was still on the ceremony area and that some tablecloths were the wrong colour. I am so grateful that I found "Bride-to-be" Weddings. Shauna's prices are reasonable, and she delivered so much more than I expected. Her team went the extra mile, and I was impressed that Shauna and her team were willing to go above and beyond. With only 3-4 weeks remaining until my baby sister's wedding, I made the decision to hire a wedding coordinator. Luckily, Shauna was available with such short notice. She was incredibly attentive and responsive, even arranging a Zoom meeting with my sister and her staff to ensure everyone was on the same page. However, just five days before the wedding, the venue canceled and we had to postpone the entire event. The couple decided to have a more intimate ceremony and no longer required Shauna's services. Despite the last-minute cancellation, Shauna handled the situation professionally and with understanding. Although I cannot attest to Shauna's work on the day of the event, my interactions with her were positive and professional. I highly recommend Shauna and her team.
