I am a former 1st Soloist of Ballet Nacional Dominicano, and a certified graduate of the Cuban Ballet School in Havana, Cuba. I have been trained in the Vaganova Russian method, as well as the Pacific Northwest Ballet School Balanchine aesthetics. I have a deep passion for my career and have had the honor of training students who now perform in major ballet companies and pre-professional ballet schools like The School of American Ballet and Joffrey Ballet School in NYC, as well as MYB.
As of now, I am offering private lessons, and in accordance with the CDC guidelines in NYC, masks are required. I will announce when I am able to open for group classes. I kindly ask that if you are sick, please do not schedule any classes. Thank you, and stay safe.
Teaching classical ballet is an art form that presents many challenges, but it is the passion for the art that fuels me to share it with others.

For a short time, Brenda assisted us in preparing my 10-year-old daughter for ballet auditions. Since my daughter had taken a break from dance for a few months, Brenda assisted her in regaining her confidence and focusing on specific areas.
