Greetings! My name is Brenda, and my husband and I relocated to this area from NY in 2018. Recently, we welcomed an adorable baby girl in March 2020, and we couldn't be more thrilled! My educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design attained from NYC, and I have extensive experience in the NY Fashion Industry, with over seven years of expertise as a fitter/seamstress in a bridal retail store. I operate Brenda's Sewing Room, where I sew any garment alteration needs you may have, from hemming pants to transforming a wedding dress. Additionally, I create custom ensembles, including costumes and gowns, like the one I designed for my mom to wear to my wedding, and a magnificent Snow White costume for a client headed to a Comicon Convention. For both adults and children, sewing lessons are available in my private studio.
Sewing is my true passion; it brings me joy to help my clients find the perfect fit for their clothing, or create a beautiful ensemble they envisioned. Every day is a new challenge, as I enjoy working with an array of gorgeous fabrics.
I am deeply gratified to see my children's faces light up when learning to operate the sewing machine and creating something from scratch. To put a smile on your face, I will go above and beyond to deliver the best results possible.

As I was in dire need of having a dress altered for a wedding, I searched for a nearby seamstress to no avail. Fortunately, I chanced upon Brenda, and I must say I was extremely satisfied with her service! She finished altering the dress before my deadline and the result was immaculate. I particularly adored the length, which allowed me to do without heels, as the dress was extremely long.
