Bravado Farms

The horses and people at Bravado Farms have been a great pleasure for me! Tara is an incredibly helpful person whose awesomeness and patience have been instrumental in restoring my confidence in riding, since I took a hiatus from it for 12 years. As long as she is willing to accept me, I intend to remain there for quite some time! :)

Since I was eight years old, I have spent 15 years at Full Circle Farms. My journey began with my first pony, and back then, I was a timid kid who only dared to jump small obstacles. With the help of Full Circle Farms, however, I have become a confident hunter/jumper rider. I have won numerous GSDHJA year-end championships in the county show hunter ranks, and also clinched the children's hunters title at "A" rated shows. After years of success in the hunter arena, I decided to switch to the jumper ring, where I continued to thrive. I won the PCHA and USHJA year-end Horse of the Year awards in the Adult jumpers. Recently, Tara joined Full Circle Farms and has been a great help with my young project horse. Tara brings a wealth of horse show experience to our barn, and has quickly become a welcomed member of our barn family.

For nearly a year now, I've ridden with Tara at Full Circle Farms and feel grateful to be a part of her barn family. Tara played a crucial role in nursing my 20-year-old Warmblood back to health after he was injured outside her care, utilizing her vast equine knowledge and impeccable attention to detail. Every horse under her watch receives personalized care and training, with Tara treating them as if they were her own. As a full-time CPA, I find it challenging to get to the barn during the workweek, but Tara has been incredibly flexible in accommodating my schedule to help me get ample riding time in. I trust that my horse is receiving the exercise and care he needs even when I'm not present, giving me peace of mind. Finding a trainer who's dedicated to enhancing my skills and has a genuine passion for the sport after such a long hiatus is truly fortunate. Tara's unwavering commitment to her students and love for horses is admirable, and I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to work with her.

Tara possesses an innate teaching ability as she motivates her students to assess their actions and to communicate effectively regarding their successes and failures. She exemplifies a positive attitude, and her sincere desire for her students' triumph, in and outside of the riding arena, is evident. Tara maximizes every learning moment, adeptly reminding her students to observe and learn from others, emphasizing her conviction in horsemanship and comprehensive equestrianism. Additionally, she exhibits remarkable "horse sense", recognizing the noteworthy investment horses represent, and therefore meticulously trains and cautiously observes their behavior for any indications of distress. My daughter's riding proficiency, horsemanship, and our horse's conditioning have all dramatically improved under Tara's tutelage. In summary, I am exceptionally satisfied with our training by Tara!
