Bruce Bounds is licensed to practice law in Florida, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., New York, and the United States Supreme Court. After working with mid-sized and large firms in Miami, he has returned to individual practice. Mr. Bounds represents businesses and individuals in a variety of legal matters, including basic and sophisticated commercial, industrial, and real estate loan transactions. He assists with loan structuring, negotiations, documentations, closings, work-outs, commercial and residential foreclosures, title examinations, and issuance of title insurance policies. Additionally, he counsels clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions and advises businesses on organizational issues, including partnership agreements, articles of incorporation, by-laws, organizational minutes, and issuance of share certificates. His areas of practice also include asset purchase/stock purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, licensing and distribution agreements, wills, durable family powers of attorney, authorizations for medical treatment, affidavits of domicile, and similar family planning matters.

In addition to his legal work, Bruce is actively involved in business and community affairs. He has held various leadership roles within civic and professional organizations in Miami, including as vice chairman and chairman of the board of deacons and chairman of the board of trustees of Plymouth Congregational Church, chairman of the legislation sub-committee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Banking Committee, a member of the Florida Bar's Financial Institutions Committee, editor of the newsletter and director and president of the Coral Gables Bar Association, and participated in a diversified group of civic activities. Prior to his move to Miami, he also served in various positions with the World Affairs Council, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Philadelphia Orchestra, and served as a judge of elections in Philadelphia.
