Hi, I am Kenny Strickland, the proud owner-operator of my personal training studio. I take immense pleasure in offering a well-equipped, clean, and cozy facility to my clients who aspire to reach their training goals. Spread across 1500 square feet, my training facility is different from other membership gyms as it offers 1 on 1 or small group training for up to 3 individuals, with no distractions.
My areas of specialty include weight loss and weight management training, functional training, HIIT training, sports-specific training, toning and sculpting, and strength and endurance training. My CPT certifications include NASM and NCSF, along with NASM-PES and CES.
During my training sessions, I make use of an extensive range of equipment like free weights, machines, Bulgarian bags, treadmills, kettlebells, water rowers, battle ropes, and much more. I have been an athlete for most of my life, playing football and running track, and have also trained as a student and a teacher. This unique experience allows me to understand my clients better and help them achieve their goals by identifying what motivates them.
For the past ten years, I have been training people, but I opened my gym in West Oakland in 2012, where I have interacted with so many amazing individuals. Nothing makes me happier than watching my clients progress beyond their initial goals, be it shedding 25 pounds instead of 10 or going from being unable to do a single pull-up to doing ten.
Often, people become disheartened and give up on their fitness goals. However, I am here to keep them motivated and show them that they can achieve anything they set their minds to.
