Bob Porri Music

Bob Porri's studio has helped my daughter discover a newfound passion for guitar music. His remarkable expertise and patience with his pupils are truly astounding, and my daughter is thriving under his guidance.

I began my guitar studies with Bob in May of 2013. Since then, I've incorporated electric bass, songwriting, drums, and recording/production into our lessons. Bob possesses extensive knowledge and superb musical abilities as a player, composer, and communicator of musical concepts. Moreover, he exhibits great enthusiasm, excellent support, and is an all-around nice person! I highly recommend him!

For the past four months, I have been taking bass guitar lessons with the incredible teacher Bob. As an adult beginner, I am thrilled with the way he tailors the lessons to my interests and abilities. Instead of boring beginner songs, we play music from some of my favorite musicians, such as The Kinks, The White Stripes, and Black Sabbath. Bob also incorporates music theory into our lessons in a way that is both entertaining and educational. For example, he will use a Black Sabbath riff to teach me about the pentatonic scale. Professional, friendly, and kind, Bob makes the most of every lesson minute, and I am always eager to attend. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone interested in learning guitar or bass guitar!

Finding Bob has brought me immense joy. My attempts at mastering the guitar on my own were not very fruitful. Bob's vast experience as a teacher has made the learning process much smoother for me.

Bob is a highly knowledgeable individual who generously shares his wealth of knowledge with others. To ensure that he effectively passes on what he knows, he first gauges the students' proficiency levels before cleverly and entertainingly tailoring his lessons to suit their specific needs. By building on prior knowledge, Bob gives his students the tools they need to learn and understand key concepts. Hats off to you, Bob!
