::About Julie, our instructor::
Julie Baretela - a private instructor and owner of Blackbird Music - has received multiple awards as the Music Teacher of the Year in 2017, 2019 and 2020.
Graduating from Point University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music in 2006-2010, Julie has developed her own unique contemporary teaching method to improve the learner's strength, ear-training, techniques, memorisation and dexterity.
Blackbird Music delivers an opportunity to grow and improve through Student Concerts, Live Open Mics, Music Theory Clinics and Recording Studios.
Our lessons include: •Ages 5 to Adult •Beginners to Advance levels •Guitar, Piano, Bass, Ukulele, Voice, and Banjo •Song Writing/Composition •Sight Reading and Music Theory
