WHY CAN’T WE STOP FIGHTING?
Fighting is the outcome of being unable to manage differences, which is an essential component of any relationship. If you could sort out your differences dispassionately, there would be no fighting. Unfortunately, heated emotions, defensiveness, and aggression often accompany arguments, inducing the fight-or-flight hormonal response of adrenaline, cortisol, and norepinephrine, ultimately shutting down critical thinking and analysis.
