I founded Bites By Eydt Catering after graduating from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, where I gained expertise in fine dining. My passion for cooking and sharing dishes with loved ones led me to pursue a career in catering.
At Bites By Eydt, we provide high-quality equipment and a skilled staff to prepare and serve an array of freshly made meals on-site for any sized event, from 10 to 500 guests. We happily accommodate any dietary restrictions and suggestions to ensure a truly unforgettable dining experience.

With only four days to plan my daughter's wedding dinner, I reached out to Bites by Eydt. I was pleasantly surprised by Dick's responsiveness and willingness to work within my budget while accommodating changes to the menu. His professionalism and understanding of our Covid-19 concerns impressed me greatly, as did his seamless coordination and communication. On the day of the event, chef Khris arrived on-site to grill for 18 guests with limited space and no access to the kitchen. She did an amazing job preparing Grilled Lamb Chops, Beef Tenderloin, Chicken, and various Vegetables that catered to our dietary needs and received rave reviews from our guests. The homemade Pesto on the flatbread pizza with fresh mozzarella and tomato was particularly delicious and the Hummus with grilled pita was a standout as well. Dick personally delivered all of the dishes, glasses, and serving platters to our home the Friday before the event. We even had plenty of leftovers to send home with our guests! I highly recommend Bites by Eydt for your next catering event.

Our Derby party was a huge success thanks to Dick's exceptional work. Our guests couldn't stop raving about his delicious food, and he conducted himself with the utmost professionalism. He even went the extra mile by ensuring everything was thoroughly cleaned up. We are beyond satisfied with his services and will be contacting him for all of our future catering needs!

Richard can be best described as caring, capable, and creative. He delights guests with superb cuisine and accommodates their dietary preferences and allergies with ease. He even goes the extra mile to prepare separate dishes for those who do not consume pork. It was a pleasure working with him, and we appreciated his valuable assistance. The night was fantastic! Eydt's Bites hosted an amazing cooking class/demonstration/dinner with a Spanish theme. Dick was incredibly affable and provided exactly what we desired. We are absolutely going to repeat this experience in the future!

My small dinner party was catered by Dick, and I must say that he did a remarkable job. The food that he provided was superb, and he was punctual and extremely adept at his work. Thanks to his efforts, my guests had a wonderful time and enjoyed themselves throughout the evening.
