The pricing for B&H's work was never discussed beforehand. It was only after the work was finished that I found out it would be over $400 for less than half an hour. They explained that they have a two-hour minimum labor charge of $150 per hour. I shared the invoice with my bookkeeper for payment and within 24 hours, B&H threatened to cut off their welding if payment wasn't received. Our usual payment arrangement is a 14-day net, unless specified otherwise. However, I have been bombarded with daily calls and messages from B&H demanding payment. It has been four business days since the work was completed, and it seems that this company is financially unstable and unfamiliar with standard business payment practices.
