Performing weddings is my passion, and as an Officiant, I aim to infuse every ceremony with a personal, warm touch. For outdoor weddings, I provide a speaker and microphone to ensure everyone can hear the ceremony.
Whether you're dreaming of a traditional ceremony or want to make it uniquely yours, I have sample ceremonies and can assist with vows, readings, and music to enhance your special day. To customize the ceremony, I'll send you a questionnaire in advance and write a personalized story about your relationship.
I'm also happy to include special add-ons like a Handfasting, sand blending ceremony, or love letter box. Over the years, I’ve conducted weddings in a variety of locations, including beaches, backyards, public parks, lighthouses, and wedding venues. With as few as four, or as many as 200 guests, every wedding has been unique and special.
As a Notary Public in Maine, I am authorized to perform weddings. In Massachusetts, I can acquire an "Officiate for a Day" license, and in New Hampshire, I can request a specific license using my notary paperwork. The state does charge a fee, which I would add to my fee.
My fees are as follows: $300 for the personalized ceremony, including initial consultation and continued support throughout the wedding planning process. This package includes writing the personalized story, helping with vows, and writing the ceremony script. If you choose to have a Celtic Handfasting, I'll provide the braided cord. For a rehearsal, it's an additional $75. For a simple ceremony/elopement, the fee is $225, which includes the initial consultation and a simple script. You'll be able to select from pre-written poems, readings, vows, ring statements, and one add-on. Please note this does not include a personalized life story.
If your wedding is located over 60 miles from Saco, Maine, there is a surcharge of $25.

Our experience with Beth was truly exceptional. From the outset, she diligently responded to our inquiries regarding our wedding plans, including the exchanging of vows and rings among other details. Of note, her impeccable organization skills were on full display during our rehearsal, as she meticulously coordinated our team comprising bridesmaids, groomsmen, the ring bearer, the flower girl, and our parents. She ensured that all arrangements were finalized before leaving, displaying tremendous patience and commitment. Come the wedding day, our ceremony was just as impeccably organized, even amidst my dress mishap. On May 28th of last year, my partner and I had the privilege of having a double wedding. Given the rarity of such an occasion, we were unsure of how to proceed. As Pennsylvania natives, we tied the knot in Maine without any local connections. Through CrackerJack, I stumbled upon Beth and was intrigued by her Handfasting Ceremonies, a unique touch that could make our intimate gathering of only five people all the more special. Beth was always very responsive to my inquiries and even braved the harsh March chill to check out our tentative location, two months ahead of schedule. She was gracious when I asked for a few script modifications and remained flexible on the event's start time, since it was an outdoor ceremony with rain in the forecast. We desired a micro wedding where only 5 guests were present at our home ceremony. Instead of dismissing us for wanting something small, Beth made us feel at ease and expressed excitement in creating a unique experience for us. She promptly responded to all of our inquiries and made the process effortless. Beth arrived early, explained the ceremony, and performed it beautifully while ensuring we were captured perfectly on camera. Our chosen handfasting ceremony was made special by a handmade cord braided by her partner in colors that we selected. Beth tied it around our hands gently. Once the ceremony ended, she took care of everything for our license without delay.
