My teaching career began in ESL, where I helped adults struggling with the basics of the English language to converse comfortably with their American colleagues and friends. Over the past 30 years, I have taught college courses in English composition and literature, coached graduate students to achieve their Ph.Ds or Master's degrees, and tutored high school students who had almost given up on their academic dreams. Each student I have worked with has been unique, with different learning styles and strengths, and my success as a teacher has always come from understanding and utilizing these differences.
Now, as Capstone Coaching, I am dedicated to helping students create outstanding writing projects. As someone who is not a native English speaker, I found it difficult to complete my comprehensive (thesis) paper. Thankfully, Laura was there to assist.
