My services are unique, set apart from the others in the area. As a guitar teacher, I am well-versed in teaching methods, techniques, and styles, as well as a myriad of tricks that cannot be found elsewhere. I have worked with young children and older adults at all levels of experience, from novices to seasoned players. Additionally, I am a versatile composer of various musical genres.

The highlight of my teaching and guitar-playing career is observing the progress of my students. I take great pride in instilling a thorough understanding of theory and proper right and left hand techniques. It isn't enough to simply learn songs or theory; one must integrate both elements. From the very beginning, I ensure that students receive a comprehensive education, an experience that is both enjoyable and fulfilling.

For the past few months, Jimmy had been teaching guitar to my son. However, Jimmy embarked on his journey to college to pursue music studies. He was an excellent tutor who motivated and influenced my son positively. Although we will miss Jimmy, we extend our best wishes to him for his forthcoming endeavors. When I initially informed James of my guitar abilities, I claimed to have some knowledge and skill, stating that I could "play guitar a little" and knew a portion of a song called "Smoke on the Water" taught to me by a friend. In actuality, I had only learned to play a single string with my thumb. James was kind enough to reintroduce me to the basics of music, including rhythm and chords, while also providing techniques for strumming and using all my fingers to play. By the conclusion of our first lesson, I was already able to enjoy playing small jams that James introduced me to. After nine lessons, I found myself flourishing in guitar playing, capable of figuring out songs and even crafting new riffs. I enthusiastically recommend James as an excellent teacher.

As someone who was completely new to the guitar, I felt incredibly anxious. Fortunately, James was able to put me at ease during our first lesson. He made the experience enjoyable and I gained a lot of knowledge. Additionally, his affordable rates allowed us to spend a full hour together. Despite being 51 years old, I am thrilled to be learning an instrument and James' patience and skill have played a significant role. I highly recommend him to others. Thank you for everything!
