For approximately a month, I have been collaborating with Ben and I am incredibly grateful to have discovered him as a teacher! Despite playing the guitar for an extended period, either casually or with bands, I have been stagnating for the past decade or so. Fortunately, during my initial lesson, he provided solutions to my specific technical inquiries and we set out a plan for my musical objectives. Ben has a remarkable understanding of your playing style requirements and combines various methods to make the learning experience enjoyable. Since starting with Ben, I have already improved my guitar skills and modified my practice regimen. Although it's been many years since I had formal music lessons, now, I'm less intimidated by the progress I intend to make. Ben is an exceptional teacher who has significantly improved my guitar-playing skills. Despite having played for two decades, I felt like I had stagnated for ten years until Ben introduced me to new techniques for practicing, learning songs, and enhancing my abilities in ways that I never thought possible. He has been instrumental in teaching me how to work on songs that I once thought were beyond my reach. Among the many lessons I found valuable from Ben are: Theory - I always wanted to expand my improvisational skills beyond the pentatonic scale, and Ben has taught me scales and modes that have enabled me to make significant strides in this area. Songs - Thanks to Ben, I can play several songs with ease, including Eric Johnson's "Cliffs of Dover," Erra's "Snowblood," Dream Theater's "Overture 1928," After the Burial's "Behold the Crown," and John Petrucci's "Glasgow Kiss." Practicing- Ben has also been critical in teaching me finger exercises that I have struggled with in the past, such as sweep picking. Thanks to his guidance, my technique has significantly improved, allowing me to execute the skill with the accuracy and precision I always aimed for.

Ben's performance was exceptional! He discontinued the lessons owing to personal circumstances, but I am sure he is the first person I will approach when I resume.

Our 12 year old is fortunate to have a guitar instructor who is skilled, passionate, and committed. Despite being separated by distance, Ben has facilitated our weekly lessons flawlessly. He fosters a cheerful and secure atmosphere that allows our child to delve into captivating and contemporary tunes.
