My mission is to offer exceptional tutoring services to K-8 students in English grammar and punctuation, writing, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and spelling by utilizing Common Core techniques and curriculum. Additionally, I aim to provide TESOL (English as a Second Language) adults and children with proven methods of instruction for English Language Arts. Each tutoring session is uniquely tailored to the academic and personal goals of the student. My tutoring services extend throughout the greater Sacramento area.
Amidst the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, I am currently offering online sessions via Zoom, along with grade level specific learning packets for K-8 students, and specialized ESL lessons. For students in the Sacramento region, I am also available for in-person sessions.
I offer a free orientation session to all new students, where I present Common Core expectations for your child's grade level and provide a sample lesson plan. For ESL students, I offer an assessment and a sample lesson plan. Subsequently, lessons are available at an affordable rate of $30 for one hour.
