Avella Maid Service

Although I typically refrain from writing reviews, I feel compelled to warn others about the subpar service provided by this company. In light of my recent spinal surgery, I enlisted them for a deep clean, as I was unable to perform this task for several months. However, I was appalled to find toothpaste residue in my sinks, mildew in my shower, dust on my counters, and stickiness on my floor, among other issues. To say the job was poor would be an understatement - not even a superficial clean was achieved. Even my young children, who clean weekly, do a better job. Regrettably, I am out $400 for no tangible gain, and am left to tackle the job myself. In short, I cannot recommend this company.

My apartment, which has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, was cleaned swiftly and noiselessly by them. Their work was impressive, and I am certain that I will enlist their services once more.

I have a great admiration for Josh and his team! Josh himself is extraordinary, ensuring excellent customer service and communication. His team is highly efficient, particularly Gabby and Mickey who are both fantastic! Josh values honest feedback and has a charming personality. I strongly recommend working with this team and have already recommended them to numerous individuals!

The cleaning service proved to be a perplexing waste of money. Despite sending a cleaner, it appeared that the individual was clueless about the tasks at hand. The counters were left unwiped, with hair and toothpaste still littered across the bathroom counters. The floors remained un-mopped, and the vacuuming was haphazard, with the vacuum's motor leaving an unpleasant dust-like odor throughout the home. Dressers and night tables were also untouched, and glass doors were left smudged with prints. Even the toilets were left uncleaned, with garbage remaining untouched in the bathroom bins. One of the peculiar instances was the dirty duvet cover that was merely shifted to another bed for no apparent reason. The entire process lasted almost four hours, but the result was far from satisfactory. Despite good communication, the cleaning was far worse than a child following simple instructions. It was challenging to pinpoint the source of complaint, given the comedic level of the job, which was also priced $60 higher than that of our previous cleaners. Although they cited an emergency causing a staff shortage, it couldn't compensate for the cleaner's basic misunderstanding between "not cleaned properly" and "not even touched at all."

I had never used this cleaning service before, but I must say, they exceeded my expectations. Sylvia, the cleaner, worked solo to clean my house, leaving it spotless. Sylvia is not only a fantastic cleaner, but also a pleasant and professional individual. Communication with the owner, Josh, was also impressive. I have nothing but positive remarks for this company.
