At Ashta Yoga, we specialize in providing private, personal, partner, children, prenatal, and group Ashtanga Yoga classes, as well as corporate sessions. Ashtanga Yoga is a time-tested practice that has helped individuals achieve optimal physical and mental health for centuries. It differs greatly from the Westernized yoga styles we're familiar with.
The Ashtanga Practice offers a range of benefits, including weight control, muscle toning, relaxation, anxiety and depression reduction, improved concentration, and overall mental acuity. It also teaches healthy community living. Ashtanga Yoga is an 8-limbed practice that includes movement, breathing, personal ethics, social ethics, sense withdrawal, meditation, maintaining meditation, and contentment.
At Ashta Yoga, we follow a traditional approach to teaching that aims to help each student learn how to practice the 8 limbs in daily life. Our goal is for the student to eventually become self-sufficient and cultivate contentment within themselves at any time or place. We don't outsource, and I am the only teacher, having been trained in a sacred lineage and having lived and studied in India.
We believe that every action should embody stability and ease in equal measure. This results in a balance of physical and mental stability and ease, gradually reducing all life obstacles by teaching right body and mind reactions to the suffering of life. We offer Hatha Yoga for beginners and beyond, combining vinyasa, slow flow, and restorative physical postures. Additionally, we offer alternative healing and life coaching sessions with an Ashtanga foundation.

After my second yoga session, I have already experienced significant changes. To my surprise, my instructor delved into the mental aspects of yoga in addition to the physical practice.
