Working with James is an absolute joy. His knowledge and expertise are exceptional. James assisted us in restoring an antique piano that we had recently acquired. He methodically crafted a plan, highlighting critical areas that required immediate attention. He meticulously removed the action and undertook the task of reshaping the hammers in his workshop, as well as fitting new dampers, rail felt, and reliable strapping. When he visited our home to tune the piano, we welcomed him with open arms. Not only did he tune the piano, but he also took the initiative to explain to my youngsters how the various parts of the piano worked, which they enjoyed immensely. We intend to make contact with James for future tuning as well as to have him work on the keys as we are extremely satisfied with the stunning and operational antique piano we now own.
