Working with Harry and Alex was a delightful experience! They helped us install a basement door, replaced the lock and hardware in an existing door, and put in some new interior doors in our Kitchen. I hired these guys to replace two interior doors and they were fantastic! When I contacted them, they offered to come the same day, but unfortunately, I couldn't oblige. Nevertheless, they showed up the next day as promised. Initially, I had chosen a big box store to do the installation, but after spending two weeks going around in circles without any answers, I decided to look for other contractors. The big box store also informed me that they needed to "custom make a frame" because the jam wasn't standard, and it would take nine weeks to get the doors in. I needed the work done urgently and couldn't wait that long. After making some calls, these guys were available to come the next day. Alex, who is a skilled carpenter, came in the morning, took measurements, and purchased two doors with frames from the same big box store. With his skills, he made the doors fit perfectly, extended the jam with 2x4s, caulked everything to make it flush, and took his time to make it look good. Overall, it took about nine hours for Alex to complete the entire process, including measuring, purchasing supplies, removing old frames, installing new frames, and adding trim to the two doors. He even showed up five minutes earlier than scheduled! I'm planning to paint the doors this weekend.
