Greetings! My name is Amy Halvorsen and I possess extensive experience of more than twenty years in teaching ESOL. I have catered to students belonging to various age groups and having diverse English proficiency levels. Besides teaching ESOL at Northern VA Community College for five years, currently, I teach grade 4 ESOL at an elementary school in Manassas, VA. My passion for teaching English and imbibing knowledge of different cultures is unyielding. My mode of teaching includes both in-person and virtual sessions over Zoom. I am also well-versed in Spanish and offer lessons in the same. My teaching style entails making the lessons enjoyable and thought-provoking. With a dual Master's Degree along with a wealth of teaching experience, I am confident in the quality of education I impart.
