My chief concern was the lack of communication and coordination between the estimator and subcontractor, which was unprofessional and not acceptable. I don't want to be caught in the middle of their issues, nor do I want the subcontractor asking for direct payment beyond our agreement. The company needs to set professional boundaries, so these kinds of problems don't occur. While the subcontractor was diligent but unorganized, the estimator could improve by honing their understanding of project details and timelines. Nevertheless, overall, I'm pleased with the outcome.
