Moving into an unprepared apartment caused me to panic due to my allergy to roach droppings and my reliance on an epi-pen issued by the VA. However, I was fortunate to encounter an amazing woman named Hilda who came to my rescue after the apartment was sprayed by management. Hilda worked tirelessly to ensure my living space was clean and safe. She even unpacked my belongings from Colorado and organized the kitchen cabinets and sinks with cutting mats and liners. In addition, Hilda went above and beyond by folding and hanging up my clothes in the master bedroom. As a disabled veteran and retired federal law enforcement officer, having someone like Hilda assist me made me feel incredibly grateful.
