With the exception of my first three years, music has been a large part of my life. Through singing, performing, and playing various instruments, I have honed my skills in a variety of areas including theater, choir, rock and jazz bands, acoustic pop covers, songwriting, hosting open mics, and teaching.
I firmly believe that it's never too early or too late to start learning songs. My approach involves developing the ability to read music, comprehend music theory, and improve ear and rhythm. I have experience with both private lessons and small groups, so if you're seeking a class for your children who are off from school, I am available to assist you.

Allison was a total success! While I didn't have the chance to interact with her directly on the special day, my spouse commented that she was incredibly professional and had impressive guitar abilities. Since my partner is also a musician, he was able to recognize the difficulty level of the songs that Allison played. Before the event, we communicated with Allison through phone calls and texts, and gave some general preferences regarding the genre and artists we enjoyed. Allie is an experienced musician and instructor with a grounded demeanor. I found her quick to understand my current skill level and begin the lessons accordingly. Even after only a few ukelele lessons, I've learned concepts that had previously eluded me in guitar classes and music books. One delightful aspect of Allie's teaching is that she encourages my curious one-year-old to explore the instruments.
